Cihan Nalbant

While studying at Sarıyer Mustafa Kemal Anatolian Teacher Training High School, he received software training in 2013, then left high school and started working. He developed his cyber security skills through extensive work in the field and then attended CEH training. In 2014 he won a full scholarship to study Software Engineering at Bahçeşehir University and began his university education while continuing to work. Together with his classmate Batuhan Katırcı, he discovered a system vulnerability in the social media giant Twitter. Going further, they closed the vulnerability with software they developed. Their skill caught the attention of Twitter’s founding chairman Jack Dorsey. Although the two young men had not applied, Dorsey invited them to the Twitter Flight program held at the company’s headquarters in San Francisco.
