She was born in New York. Because her family preferred that she be educated in Turkey when she started primary school, she completed her primary, middle and high school education in Istanbul. She then went to California to study her dream subject, television/film. After graduating from San Diego State University, on the very day she returned to Istanbul, coincidence put her back on the road. In a television career that began with Acun Firarda, she worked in front of and behind the camera on many productions such as Yetenek Sizsiniz (Turkey’s Got Talent), Survivor, Yoksa Rüya mı? 21, Nedir? Ne Değildir?, Söyle Söyleyebilirsen, Sen Hak Ediyorsun and İki Kahve Arası. Disappearing professions, masters and craftspeople are among her greatest fascinations in life. She is a Cancer who can never get enough of Istanbul, art, literature and nature. For the last 5 years her life has been split between Istanbul, which she adores, and Bozburun, where she found love. Her husband and son are her everything...
