Who is Ali Sermet Taşdöğen?
Greetings again, TED(x) lovers!
Yes, the stress rises as the event approaches, but on the other hand that's when we really get excited! As we know from previous years - and those who have attended the event can probably guess - this excitement lasts until the event day, when we listen to very enjoyable and potentially life-changing ideas, and on the event day we share it with everyone. Not just us as a team; our speakers, sponsors, supporters and many more share in this excitement. By now you know that we like to introduce our speakers a little before the event (those who don't can check out older posts on the blog).
Now it's Ali Sermet Taşdöğen's turn! This topic is going to affect our future a great deal, and in the future we may need to shape our lives around technology, or perhaps keep up with it. We know a lot is being written and said about this topic, and people are a bit confused. That's why one of the people who explains this topic best is sharing the stage with us this year. So who is Ali Sermet Taşdöğen?
Ali Sermet Taşdöğen, founder and CEO of DijitalPara Teknoloji, was born in Germany in 1979. He completed his primary education at İzmir Özel Türk Koleji, his secondary education at Nazilli High School, and his undergraduate studies at Near East University Electrical & Electronic Engineering and the Anadolu University Faculty of Business Administration. After his undergraduate studies, Ali Sermet Taşdöğen worked in managerial positions at various corporate firms until 2010, and in 2010 he stepped into the world of entrepreneurship by founding his first company in software & technology. After completing many domestic and international projects, in 2014 he turned entirely to financial technologies and founded DijitalPara Teknoloji Anonim Şirketi for this purpose. Ali Sermet Taşdöğen, Founding Chairman of DijitalPara Teknoloji A.Ş., which currently operates in financial technology fields such as cryptocurrencies, blockchain, artificial intelligence, machine learning, big data and algorithmic trading, also writes and speaks at various events outside of his business life, trying to contribute knowledge to the community he lives in.
