Who is Dilara?
Greetings to everyone who is never without TED(x)! Those who follow our blog will already know, but let us remind you anyway. As you know, there are about 1.5 months left until the event. During this time we are both working with our speakers and rushing around with organizational work. In the meantime, thinking you might want to build a connection in advance with the ideas to be discussed on stage and the people who will present them, we are sharing these usually short biographies with you.
Today's speaker is Dilara! No need for more words, let's let Dilara tell you about herself in her own words...
" I was born in Karaman in June 1995 as the child of a teacher and a nurse. Because of my parents' professions, I changed schools many times. After living with my family in the Bandırma and Gönen districts of Balıkesir, we finally moved to the Akhisar district of Manisa after my father passed away. After completing primary and middle school in Akhisar, I studied at Akhisar Anatolian Teacher Training High School. I began studying psychology at Middle East Technical University. For a while I was an active member of the METU Psychology Society. During my studies, I spent half a semester in Austria as part of the Erasmus programme. I am currently continuing my studies at METU as a fourth-year psychology student. "
