Who is Elif Güngör Reis?

First of all, thank you. Yesterday, March 8, was International Women's Day, and for that reason we shared our 3 "women" speakers from last year on social media, and they got a lot of attention. We know that women are a big part of change in this world. The speaker we are about to introduce will be on stage this year with an idea and project that is changing the world. Here she is:
Elif Güngör Reis!
Elif Güngör Reis was born in Istanbul in 1985. In 2007 she graduated from the Department of Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering at Istanbul Technical University. She then completed her master's degree in Chemical Engineering at Istanbul University, where she is currently pursuing her PhD in the same department. Unable to find a job in the sector when she graduated in 2007, Elif Güngör Reis started selling food additives. In 2011 she developed a natural food preservative from eggshells, a first in Turkey and the world, and received the Technoentrepreneurship Capital Grant from the Ministry of Science, Industry and Technology. Having run a TÜBİTAK TEYDEB project on the same subject in 2013 and received an award from İTÜ Çekirdek in 2014, Reis is currently the only producer in the sector making a domestic and harmless shelf-life extender.
